All staff are briefed on how to proceed in the event of a Lockdown in school and have had stringent training. 

Children are made aware, in a non-frightening way, through social stories and drills. The story we use to help explain why we may have to go into lockdown is 'Lockdown Drill at Superhero School' and the PowerPoint is available below.

Please read our Policy for how parents, Carers and Guardians will be informed. There are no details as to how school manage a lockdown so as to safeguard all children and staff; however, staff have a detailed copy and understand their roles.
